How often will the Product/Potential Use databases be updated?

The answer to this question depends on two things:

  • How often AMS updates its product list.
  • How many testimonial reports are received by the developers.

In this latter issue, the database users can help by forwarding their own testimonial information to FrayerNet. Testimonials can be forwarded by e-mail to afrayer@frayernet.com or by U.S. Mail to Testimonials, c/o FrayerNet, 6023 26th St W #183, Bradenton, FL 34207. Testimonials should include verifiable names and contact information and become the property of FrayerNet for publication purposes.

We would like to say we will produce database updates at least twice a year, however the reality of the situation is that the project is still too young to make that kind of prediction.

How will subscribers receive their database updates?

Subscribers can choose two ways to receive their database updates: e-mail and U.S. Mail. E-mail subscribers will receive updated databases in an archive file by e-mail (how else?). Because they do not receive any media, their subscription cost is lower.

U.S. Mail subscribers will receive their database updates on an IBM-formatted floppy disk. Since the disks and postage add to the cost of the subscription, these subscribers will pay more for their subscription.

Why isn’t AMS Ailments available for Macintosh or Unix users?

AMS Ailments is not available for non-Windows users because we do not have access to machines in those other formats. As we gain access to Macintosh and Unix/Linux machines with Palm HotSync capability, we can add that availability.

Where can I find a demo copy of AMS Ailments?

We’d like to say you can find it at all of the popular shareware outlets, but unfortunately FrayerNet has been forced to withdraw AMS Ailments from public distribution, which makes the product no longer available as shareware. FrayerNet no longer offers a demo version of AMS Ailments.

I have the demo. How can I register it?

FrayerNet does feel an obligation to support those who are already using the AMS Ailments product, even though we are no longer seeking new users. In order to receive the best support we can offer, we still require users to register the product, and we still charge a fee for this service. Please follow this link for registration information.
