Fly With Eagles Award
AMS Ailments (AMSAil)

Welcome to the support page for FrayerNet’s first PDA application: AMS Ailments.

AMS Ailments, better known as AMSAil, was a Palm-based application created to assist Advantage Marketing System (AMS) Associates that may have had difficulty getting a grasp on the practical application of all those AMS products.

At one time, AMS published a book called Herbal Concepts. Now out of print, Herbal Concepts offered Associates great insight as to the potential application of herbal dietary supplements. Unfortunately, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not look favorably on companies presenting herbal remedies in competition with expensively tested and marketed pharmaceuticals, so AMS was forced to cease production of the popular book.

AMS Ailments was derived in principle from a portion of Herbal Concepts, and as such was determined by AMS to potentially pose the company risk. As a result, FrayerNet has voluntarily suspended soliciting new subscribers. We do feel an obligation to existing subscribers, however, and at present plan to continue supporting those presently using AMS Ailments.

AMS Ailments was the first Palm-based application to provide a list of afflictions and the AMS products that may have had an impact on those afflictions. The database consists of hundreds of entries collected through painstaking analysis of testimonial data, an effort that will continue long after the initial publication of the application. Fans of the original Herbal Concepts Ailments table will be pleased to note that the database has been updated to reflect changes in AMS’s product line, and that periodic updates will be made available as the product line changes.
