Invalid Characters

When you create objects in NDS, there are several characters you can't use. They include the period (.), comma (,), plus (+), equals (=), and backslash (\) characters. If you try to create an object using any of these characters, the object creation will fail. This applies to any NDS object, including DNS/DHCP objects that you would create in the DNS/DHCP Management Console.
